Kevin Baker
My Superlight has the standard 1.6 K engine and last summer I fitted a new 52mm throttle body - highly recommended if you've not done so already 😬 However, I've been to the MOT station today and I assume because its so bitterly cold the throttle is sticking open which was a bit scarey, until the engine seems to get hot enough to thaw the throttle body out  Has anyone suffered a similar experience and if so have you a cure please? Kevin Superlight 143 - Y Ddraig Oren Bach
Stationary M25 Traveller
Similar threads in TechTalk lately - do a search. Most likely - throttle pedal pivot binding or needs lubricating, cable kinked ? Remove one end of the cable and see which bit isn't free - pedal, cable or throttle body end - fairly simple exercise ! 7 related photos
