CageyH Posted February 17, 2008 Share Posted February 17, 2008 And I wasn't driving at the time. It was SWMBO's nephew at the controls (he is 12) when there was a malfunction of the control system... The car struck me on the knee, and knocked me over. 😳 It was doing about 40 km/h at the time. Fortunately. it was the off road 1/8th scale nitro powered radio controlled car, but I am now on crutches! It seems a stone turned off the receiver, so no input could change things. Just goes to show that even small scale motorsport is dangerous. At least I get a week off or so from work, so watch out for a BaltChat invasion... She had to drive back, and even though I told her about a speed camera, she didn't slow down, as she had not seen it there before! Only dead fish go with the flow....!
