Mark Durrant Posted February 16, 2008 Share Posted February 16, 2008 The Club are again taking a stand at the above event being held at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire (same venue as the Kit Car Show) to promote the 2008 Speed Championship to existing club members but also to non 7 owners looking for a way of competing in 2008. We need a car in sprint trim to put on the stand (Neil Fraser kindly provided his class 1 car last year). The car will need to be delivered on Thursday 13th Match and collected on Sunday 16th when the show closes. In addition we are looking for help from competitors to man the stand on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This show is all about competing and in some respects is more down to earth than Autosport, chance to buy bits, talk to fellow competitors, look at other speed series etc. Obviously anyone helping out gets free entry to the show and the club will cover reasonable out of pocket expenses. Not sure you would want my car for the stand - the old shed is not really representative of recent Caterham production. Shows what you can do with a budget of about £9.50 though!
