Dave - if the engine mount is the bracket between engine and rubber mount, and it is the one that raises the engine higher (i.e. not the one used when tthe VVC plenum is fitted) - I think it has a hole through it facing fwd-back - then I'll have it please! My engine needed to be raised for airbox to clear chassis rail, at the moment this is done with a stack of washers, I'd rather uase the correct bracket if possible *thumbup*

Sorry Dave, I didn't think I was being very clear 😳 😬

There are 2 types of right hand engine mount available, one type raises the engine slightly higher than the other - the lower one is used to stop the vvc style ali plenum from touching the bonnet. One way of telling the difference is that the 'higher' one has a hole through it, mid-way along with a tube going through (as if you could pass a cable through or something). So if yours is a solid piece of rectangle section with a flange on one end and a mounting tube on the other then it is the same as the one I have so no thanks, but if it has a hole halfway along its length then yes please!

Oh dear, just reread that and it sounds no clearer 😬

DJ,

I'll take the tacho if I may please.

Dave SL77,

Your post appears above Nicks on my machine too *confused*

Think Dave may have got his names the wrong way round ... would the confusion possibly be due to the fact that when you go to write a reply the previous posts appear below in reverse chronological order 🤔 *wink*

Keep off the straight and narrow *tongue* 😬
