captain chaos
Purchased by mistake as I thought I could get it to fit. This piece is blank so you can cut your own layout. Cutting carbon is not difficult, you just need to take your time. Not touched, still has part number on back. CC price £185 £150 delivered? or very close offer...Please! FTH
Do you know what the difference is between the CC and the Rif design?
captain chaos
I have some Rif carbon as well as some CC stuff. I think Rif's stuff is a bit glossier My car is a 97 and this piece needs too much fettling for me, so it needs to go onto a car which was made after 1999 which has a thicker bottom chassis dash rail. I am now ordering a Rif dash so that it fits correctly. Edited by - captain chaos on 16 Feb 2008 00:22:

Andy Best
CC I am interested, is it the latest or the earlier 45deg weave, and what is the nature of the fettlig required to fit a 97 chassis 🤔 Andy
captain chaos
Hi Andy, I'll take a photo if you like... In terms of the fitting, the curve at the bottom is larger to suit the updated, thicker rail at the bottom of the dash. This also means that you will need to fettle around the steerer tube. The problem I faced is that I was Ok about doing this (DaveK gave me some tips) but I am also putting in a stack dash and the gap between this hole and the large hole required for the dash just made it too tight. So instead of buggering it up I though it best to sell it.
