PaulCo
I need a brake master cylinder for a 1992 live axle crossflow, please. It is a Lockheed tandem cylinder with indecipherable digits on the body, of approx 17mm bore. A new one would be great, good s/h OK, or a seal kit as a last resort. Failing that, anyone know what other car this cylinder may have been fitted to? Thank you. Paul
Mark Durrant
Paul I am not sure this is what your looking for but have a look on this thread in For Sale that lists the following: 4. ChrisHawkins
Hi Paul, I ordered a seal kit from here before Christmas along with a new cap for the reservoir, the kit was quite easy to fit, but if I was doing it again I think I would send the whole MC to them to be refurbished. My car is also 92 Live Axle Chris K93 AMJ
PaulCo
Thanks for the link, Chris. I may end up going to them, but at the moment i'm pursuing a lead via Redline. Paul
Archie Procter
is it a wedge-shaped one or a rectangular shaped one?
PaulCo
It's got a wedge-shaped reservoir. I'm buying Sooter's new-type cylinder, but would still like to keep the original if possible, to avoid messing about with the brake pipe layout.
