Lardy
The internal frame work of my leather seat back has given way (I know eat less pies) the seat back now twists left as I sit in it as it seems to have broken high up (near my left shoulder) Any suggestions?? Looks like the leather will have to come off which isn't something I want to attempt. Could just swap it with the passenger side I suppose. Can anyone suggest an easy fix Thank you for any input
Area Representative Nick Chan Posted February 6, 2008 Area Representative Share Posted February 6, 2008 Swap it for the passenger side as usually this one stays pushed back onto the rear bulkhead anyway which should support it better. Or send it back to Oxted for a repair and they can strip it down and get the frame rewelded back up. Give them a call to get a quote. HTH Nick The BEC has gone - now onto an R400!! pburt
Paul, out of interest, how much did the Oxted refurb cost? I've done a temporary duck-tape job on my split plastic back but a proper fix appeals if not too expensive. Cheers Peter Burt
