Engine Stand

I'm after borrowing an engine stand for a couple of weeks. I want to hold a crossflow whilst I change gaskets! Surprise surprise I have oil leak(s). I have a crane.

 

I'm based in York but travel to Redditch/Bromsgrove every couple of weeks.

 

I need to get motoring. I need to do this work and get a type 9 in over the next 6 weeks.

hi Ian, I've got one new & unused that you're welcome to borrow, I'm in Naaaarfalk so we'll need to find a suitable GONADS mule....it's both heavy and bulky, it would probably cost more to transport than it's worth (£30-odd from machine mart)

 

pm me if you've got any transport ideas

I think my Dad has one that is currently unused.

He's in Abingdon, and I should be coming up to York in a few weeks time (what's you ETA for the need?)

 

Alternatively I work in Gloucester which is only 1 hr from Redditch.

Looks like Geoff is my best bet. I can go past Denby Dale on my way home without to much of a diversion.
