FlymoFraser
I have a 97 de dion car with 14 inch minilites, if I change to 15 inch Prisoner wheels do I need different wheel nuts? JACK FLASH
Neil, As far as I know Caterham started to use the closed Ford M 12 x 1.5 wheelnuts (60°angle) in the eighties and they still do in the 21th century. So they should fit on Prisoner wheels. I do not know if the studs are long enough for the Prisoner wheels. I am also having a wheelnut issue, but I suggest that you look in the archives and you' ll find a lot of topics about "nuts and studs". Englishmaninwales
Neil When I change from 14" minilites to 15" Prisoners (road to sprint) I use the wheel nuts supplied with the respective wheels. I will look at both set and see if there's a difference. I also fitted longer studs as the open nuts with the Prisoners were not fully engaged (no idea with the closed nuts) and some scrutineers were unhappy. FlymoFraser
Cheers They are on and seem to fit and there was 1.6 x stud poking through as required. Malcolm, if you could just have a look for any differences I'd be grateful. Neil
