Is anybody using or have comments on the SBD

OS-DS-TK-4.0-12 NEW 4” Diameter-12 Drysump tank?

See

http://www.sbdev.co.uk/Drysump_Systems.htm

for details.

Comments like: This works fine, should work, is better than a 6.5" wide standard tank, would not go this route... much appreciated.

With this 4" wide tank I can have an 18" (or more) high tank, 4" wide with only a little mod to the long passenger footwell.

200 quid!!! Talk to Alex at A&H fabs, they make the stuff demon twatts sell, he's on 01432 354704.

Provided they can use one of their standard tanks as a basis (155mm diameter and either 381 or 451mm tall or 190mm diameter and either 356 or 466mm tall) then he will make you a one off with any brackets and pipe fittings you like for less cash than Demon sell you a standard one. You'd be hard pressed to pay him more than 100 quid for the most complex tank.

Nice guy too.

I am getting cold feet on the 4" wide one.

That works out as total capacity of 4 litres. You can't fill it full of course. SBD said you get 4l in including, pipes, pan and pump...

The standard 6.5" x 16" is 8.6 litres total volume.

I used to get 4l of oil in my last one tank alone.... More weight to lug around of course. But for racing... you need to finish the last lap...

The small one would be fine for sprinting I guess.

I am almost waving goodbye to my passenger footwell right now!
