Leadership Team Mcalvert Posted January 19, 2008 Leadership Team Share Posted January 19, 2008 Hi - My chassis has come back from Arch ith "updated" front suspension pick up points which seem to require a single bolt to go through the rear upper wishbone and the damper. The hardware pack which I got from Caterham does not seem to cater for this and I cannot find a size in any manual. Does anyone know what size this should be please? Thanks, Michael. Irrelevant
If it's come back from Arch and one bolts fixes the back of the upper wishbone AND the top of the damper, Bruce has forgotten to put the 97-> front suspension on.
Leadership Team Mcalvert Posted January 20, 2008 Author Leadership Team Share Posted January 20, 2008 Looks like you are right - I have the double shear muntings but the pre 97 pick up points. Does anyone know what bolt sizes are needed all round for the front wishbones in this configuration? My manuals old and new do not cover this... Thanks - Michael. Irrelevant
You need whatever bolt sizes that fit in the holes Plus you'll need washers(both flat and locking) and a few nuts. If I were you, I'd buy a front suspension fastener set from Caterham - it'll have all you need and is actually quite fairly priced Edited by - AdamHay on 20 Jan 2008 18:18:
