Martin Hay-Plumb
Trying to put in the "cheese wedge" in and laughed when I read the simple CC instruction use the wedge a the template and drill a hole to rivet to the rear of the pedal box. Any ideas? - A Demel with the flexible extension looks like the only thing that will work- but I cant convince myself to spend £60 just to drill one hole. Or anyone near Beaconsfield who has got one? A beer in the Royal Standard beckons... Any car which holds together for a whole race is too heavy....

Slipper man
Dremels are only £30 at Machine MArt. If you get one you will wonder how you ever did without it! What's a chees wedge?
Area Representative Nick Chan Posted January 6, 2008 Area Representative Share Posted January 6, 2008 Get a right angled drill or the accessory Mick has linked to. I drilled my first car with an ordinary drill and it skidded off and always looked messy. Have a look at Machine Mart. I bought mine from there and its one of those tools that comes in handy every now and again. HTH Nick The BEC has gone - now onto an R400!! Martin Hay-Plumb
Thanks all: Gone with the right angled drill attachement option - more buisness for MachineMart..... BadBob
for the Dremel, saved me a lot of agro with otherwise awkward jobs. Get a bit that will cut fibreglass (and a good face mask). See my Build Cam for progress on the Roadsport Sigma build. Now with photos!
