ashaughnessy Posted May 12, 2002 Share Posted May 12, 2002 I've asked this before as a follow-on in another topic but didn't get much response, so perhaps as a question in it's own right there'll be more. My gearbox (4 speed escort sport) is out of the car at the moment. If I grab the input shaft there is about 2 or 3 mm of radial play (i.e. I can waggle it). This doesn't seem right to me (though I know nothing about gearboxes). Should there be any play? Anthony Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
