Graham Howard
Fitted lightened flywheel at the weekend (1.8K), but when I came to fit the clutch cover discovered that I needed M8 bolts rather than the M7 ones used on the old flywheel. Ordered some M8 bolts from Caterham, which arrived today. Only problem is that they are M7 again! So does anybody know if there is an alternative source for M8 clutch cover bolts ( Rover dealer?). I am going to call Caterham tomorrow but i really wanted these by this weekend. Thanks Graham
oilyhands
Graham, I have a large number in stock, they are simply M8 x 16 flange bolts. If you are in Bucks you won't be far from me... Englishmaninwales
So a lightened flywheel, Graham? Not worth it, probably only worth 0.1 sec Malcolm
Graham Howard
Malcolm No probably not worth it. I wouldn't advise you get one. Be interesting to see the 64ft times next year. Graham
