V7 SLR
I know of an excellent one going for 15, if you can stretch it a little. It's an S reg, but only has 6000 miles on the clock. Want me to make some enquiries? I can probably rustle up a spec too. Guy's only selling because he's decided that he hardly ever uses it.

scooby dooby doo
i'd recommend a 1.6 superspoer over the 1.8. it was 1k cheaper at purchase time but imho much more fun (if with the 6 speed box) so you'll save some cash there. the 1.8 doesn't seem to like to rev nearly as much. an slr or similar has been fettled sufficiently that the 1.8 becomes a good thing, its just in std form that it feels disappointing. V7 SLR
Disagree with Hoopy here. The 1800 just makes its max torque lower in the rev range than the 1600. It revs as high but just doesn't need to. A particular orange variant on the Se7ens list tours never felt like it was being left behind. Have left a message with my friend who is currently in the US until the weekend. I've asked him for full specs, but can post the following: 1800 ss 5 speed 14 inch wheels with A032Rs all round (pretty new condition) Yellow with BRG noseband and bonnet stripe He has a stack tach/timer and a couple of duel digital spa gauges which I think he wants to negotiate over.
