Brucey
Ive just aquired a later (2003?) Rover Alternator and Coil ready for my 1800K EU2 Engine swap (Thanks Andrew ). The existing plugs on my 1993 1400Kss arn't the same. Does anyone have the later ones laying around before I visit a scrap yard? I'm assuming It's just a question of grafting them onto my existing loom, although I thought there were more than 2 wires comming out of my existing alternator. Also does anyone have a photo showing where the later type coil is mounted under the bonnet. Any help appreciated, Bruce.
raw
Hi Bruce The coil mounts on the side of the block, underneath the inlet manifold. I'll send you a picture tonight when I get home. Cheers Andrew
