w7rren
I read in Pete B's post that his Sigma car seems to have a buzzer & from replies this may be built into the flasher unit ? if so does anyone know if this is interchangeable with a 2005 K series 7. I am always forgetting to switch the bl@@by thing off & my dash led don't work ! edit to add, Pete -B is there a part number on yours ? Eccles
Hi, It looks like it is a separate buzzer unit on the Sigma's wiring diagram, much like the circuit above I expect. Ivan
The Pikey
Although the diagram shows a stand alone buzzer I can't find one in mine and I think its an integral part of the flasher unit. Currently, I am qualified to plead ignorance. CA08 TRM
shn7
My 2001> K chassis wiring loom has the buzzer built into the loom. It's a tiny cylinder about 10mm diameter by 7mm long. Ends up located behind the dash near the tacho/speedo. Hope that helps. Steve. Sussex (West) AR Not forgetting Percy the Polar Bear
w7rren
Thanks Paul et all , something to have a play with on a wet day ! Steve N is your buzzer a standard K fitmant or could a previous owner have fitted it ? It may be that I have a hidden buzzer that doesn't work ...like my green rev counter indicator led Born again sevener 1st time around back in 1991 Edited by - w7rren on 11 Dec 2007 19:44:
shn7
Std part of the loom that I bought new when rebuilding my car. Easily missed even when looking at the loom when it arrived. Very hard to find when fitted to the car if you don't have the scuttle off and even then you could miss it. btw it's black. Steve.
