Mr Delbert, 55, was unable to raise the alarm after becoming stuck in the toilets at Kittybrewster and Woodside Bowling Club in Aberdeen. Mr Delbert had no mobile phone or food, and used tap water for refreshment and for heat. He was only released when cleaner Mrs Windy Cat arrived and heard his cries for help. She told BBC Scotland: "He said 'I have been locked in for four days'." Mrs WC added: "I went in to work as normal and a voice shouted out. I could not take it in. "The handle had broken. He was a bit shaky, and was as white as a sheet." Mr Delbert was said to be none the worse, despite his ordeal. Don Posted December 10, 2007 Share Posted December 10, 2007 Initial investigations on the broken door handle suggest that it may have been tampered with and a spanner found near the entrance is to be sent for forensic tests. A man in a distinctive 1964 white alfa sprint was seen in the vicinity acting suspciously just prior to Mr Delbert's number 2 requirement. Police are asking for any witnesses to come forward.
