Graham King
I have a standard 1.8K Roadsport. According to the manual max revs are 7000, there fore I assume the rev limiter should cut in at this point. My rev limiter cuts in at approx 6200 revs. 1) Is my understanding correct as to where the rev limiter should cut in. 2) If so is it user adjustable, or is this as I suspect a function of the ECU. If so is it something Caterham can correct for me. Graham. R7 GPK
Bob Corb
The std (EU3) 1.8K is rev limited at 6500rpm (max cont) 6800rpm (max int). It isn't user adjustable. I cant remember off the top of my head if there is a fault condition which pulls the limiter down to 6200. I'll ask around. It makes max power at 5500rpm anyway so further revving is debatable anyway BC
