C7JFM
why do the right hand webers run much richer (on inspection of the plugs ) than the left hand side when the jets etc are the same both sides and the carbs are balanced evenly ? How can I fix it ?????
Casbar
Chris, May be off base here, but my understanding is that the only way to see if the carbs are running rich, is either do a plug chop with the engine under load, or get it checked on a rolling road. If you just take the plugs out after the engine has been running, then you won't get the true picture. The mixture screws can effect the plugs at tickover and upto around 3000 revs. I expect someone more knowledgable will be along with a more tech view later
