scooter
What effect would having ET25 all round have on a de-dion car? Edited by - scooter on 27 Nov 2007 17:18:
prs
I'm pretty sure the normal offset is ET19, however some run ET 12 on the rear which effectively pushes the wheel/tyre out and gives a more meaninful look/stance in the wheel arch. Rob Walker
The inside of your front tyres may foul the wingstays.

Mr Locust
IIRC Caterham standard minilite 6"x14" rims ET 18 and Prisoner 6.5"x15" rims ET23, explanation in the diagrams. Wheel offset needs to be considered in conjunction with wheel width. Significant changes in offset will be noticeable as the change in scrub radius will affect steering feel.
