MD can you confirm that it is either Shelsely or Harewood 😬, although we did use Cadwell Park for a speed event so that would be a good 3rd choice 😬

A mix of hill climb and sprint. Lasting about 115sec.

I did spot the Comp Sec deep in conversation with Jonathan Palmer earlier in the year but I think he decided against Cadwell Park on the grounds of fog following representations made by TM

Hmmmm a fixed location would be a great place to have a classroom to teach people the correct methods of driving!

 

Video's, etc Some where to demonstrate different styles 😬 and techniques.

 

We could even get some new sprinters out of this!

Buy a brownfield site somewhere in the Midlands for 5p and get the gyppos in to tarmac it over. Total cost: 500 quid.

Hiring Hermann Tilke to design the layout may add a few bob to that though.

 

Wasn't Rockingham an old steel works? Not too many environmentalists and NIMBYS complaining about horrid noise polution and the stench of burning rubber then!

 

Other that that, buy:

1) Curboro (primo location next to the sewage farm)

2) Llandow (but that's in darkest Wales)

3) Any disused airfield with some decent runway still left.
