henry21p
My MK1 IBM PC with twin 5 1/4 inch floppies and thousand dollar 10Mb hardcard beats that.
The Village Idiot
Ash especially as I was talking about the 8088 processor that came before the 8086, which was followed by the 80186 and then your 80286. I did also use a MK1 IBM PC, 8088 8-bit processor, two 51/4 inch floppies and 64k of memory. Boy what a machine, it sure could fly, normally after I threw it across the room in anger when it had eaten my data again with the floppies failing. Those were the days when IT men were real men. henry21p
I know how heavy that beast was (is, I should say), so yes, to throw it across the room, you'd have needed a few extra cans of spinach. Oh, the days of Lotus 123, Basic and the colour Cyan.
