SV Gary Posted October 31, 2007 Author Share Posted October 31, 2007 When I took out Caterham insurance I took the track insurance option rather than the windscreen option - so no windscreen insurance ☹️ and it's £400 for a full windscreen (glass and frame) from Caterham ☹️ ☹️ Thanks anyway The lead dog always gets the best view. Graham King Posted October 31, 2007 Share Posted October 31, 2007 Gary, do you need the heated screen, if not I would imagine you can get one made up from plain glass relatively cheaply, the frame is not difficult to remove just need to use a lot of washing up liquid (or similar) to ease refitting. I took the frame to the local Autoglass, they sent it to their specialist vehicle unit in Bristol. Back within a week, with new glass installed, for about £70.
