Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted December 14, 2007 Leadership Team Share Posted December 14, 2007 I actually used Dum Dum from Frosts, but it was a real pain to use - needs to be applied using a filler knife. If doing the job again I would probably use Tiger Seal and apply it with a sealant gun. The Dum Dum remains soft and therefore will create a barrier between the surfaces, the theory being that it should reduce corrosion and stop vibrations. Tiger Seal would be much easier to apply and would bond everything together solid - only a problem if you want to strip it again! JACK FLASH
Guys, Could anyone comment on the difference (advantages, disadvantages, experience, ...) between Hammerite and POR 15 to give the chassis tubes a good paint job?
