deanteam Posted May 5, 2002 Share Posted May 5, 2002 not me personally you understand, but due to old age (could be me after all!) the petrol tank on the 1969 Lotus Series 3 has developed a leak this week. R2D2 Posted May 6, 2002 Share Posted May 6, 2002 You can weld the tank up with a patch, providing that you make sure there are no petrol fumes left so that it doesn't explode. Redline are the official agent for older Lotus Svenes but I am fairly sure that teh Series 3 tank is the same as the non-fuel injected Caterham. I think that all of the new tanks are Aluminium now.
