Englishmaninwales
Taken for our local paper this week, Debighshire Free Press: I watched with amazement and some sadness as Britsh F1 star Lewis Hamilton crashed out of the Chinese Grand Prix as he approached the pits. The commentators said it happened because his tyres ‘delaminated’ due to excess wear. I am constantly amazed by the need of F1 drivers to have their tyres changed after every 20 laps or so of whatever course they are driving around. So these hyper expensive tyres are lasting for less than 100 miles? I buy my radials from Kwik Fit for less than £70 each and they last for more than 30,000 miles! Mark Durrant
I wonder if he is Scottish and shares his christian name with a well known ex-F1 driver. Perhaps it is a wind up on the newspaper Mark D Comp Sec
PaulCo
I'm with Mr Stewart - my own "value-for-money" ethic means that i've had years of use from my old Bridgestones, and I fully expect to get the same from the Stunners, if I give them similar care and consideration on the track! I hear that at least one set of Englishmaninwales' collection of Stunners have 'off-road' tread patterns for those occasions (e.g. Harewood) when the need arises!
