The Village Idiot
Yes Paul I'm sure he's not a pony (I've got two horses in the stables THEY weigh 500KG each, but go alot quicker than the quoted power to weight of 0.5BHP/ton). He is actually 18 month old black lab so just fully grown but still a puppy. Proper gun dog not yer short legged/fat show lab!!! Richard Every dirty job dirty dick does!!! Myles
0.5BHP/ton Uhuh. That's because they've got 2bhp/ton... 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 Alcester Racing 7s Equipe™ 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 Alcester-Racing-Sevens.com

They STILL are ALOT quicker than 2 bhp/ton Richard (PS They low fly over jumps as well 😬) Every dirty job dirty dick does!!!
Don
Wotcha Dick > Apart from disappearing whilst on walks, then depositing a bag of sugar's worth of sand onto the sofa each day and being sick ☹️ last night ( congealed sisal mat and carrot ) he's hunky dory, thanks!! The Village Idiot
Hectors in Devon at the moment on holiday with SWMBO and child whilst I stay here and work 😔 He has been on the beach at Dawlish and Teignmouth for the first time ever and also has been sick thru drinking too much salt water aparently. Don
We're a bit further south, but similar, and the weather's lubberly - ain't half term great!! Mr WC's at the NEC and I'm here dwinking wine and waiting for the offspring to return from sailing Our friend's have had to replace several carpets thanks to their lab's salt water intolerance!! Even though 'Hector's Garden' used to have me hiding behind the sofa when I was a wee kiddie I'm sure your lab is nothing like 'Hamish' who attacked Monty this morning ☹️
The Village Idiot
I am really not jealous at all, I'm very glad I had to stay here and work, why oh why would I want to be on holiday on the south coast? Hector is a very good boy, very well socialised and will only cause trouble by either hitting you (or another dog) with his tail as it wags or his party piece is sneaking up on you and giving you a good licking. He goes to training every week with Mick Martins school so he has to behave!!! Richard Every dirty job dirty dick does!!!
Don
Actually it took a couple of days to get over the 6 hours on Friday from Droitwich to Devon via Cheltenham in a landrover ... thankfully it has been worth it, but there are times, especially when I'm in first gear on the M5, when I do wonder if it is!!!! Hmmm ... and we're requiring something akin to Nick Martin for our spoilt pooch ... we're bashing saucepan lids to keep him off the table at the moment!! Delbert
we're bashing saucepan lids to keep him off the table at the moment Sounds like fun for Monty, sort of a game even He climbs up, you make a noise, I spit on your Emeralds give me SUs for now, then webbers
Don
I know, I know for a gundog it hardly scares him but so far it does seem to make him know something will happen if he does it ... if you have any better suggestions, I'll gladly try them!! Trouble is it's open plan here and until another room is finished (with beach access) he can use the kitchen, sofa and big window seat where the table is when we're not around, so it makes it harder when we are!!
