Shearable Wing Bolts

Since shipping these in March, I have had a few requests for spare bolts.

 

In the interests of good customer service I have ordered some additional bolts. If you send me an S.A.E. I will send you (free of charge! ) 5-10 replacement bolts. The quantity will depend on the number of requests.

I finally got round to fitting mine this weekend - thanks very much.

 

Tip for others: the first wing I did the wrong way, i.e. remove all existing bolts, then require an assistant to hold wing and rubber strip carefully in place while getting a couple of new bolts in before doing the rest.

 

The second wing I did the easy way - replace bolts one at a time, so the wing stays firmly attached throughout, needing no assistant for balancing act.

 

Also, the washers supplied were a little oversized to clear the curve on my wings, but a little bending with pliers soon sorted that out.
