Brucey
Further to my my recent enquires on tech talk, I'm just testing the waters to see if any of you lot have the above sitting around in your garage to enable me to convert my 93 1400 K ss to an 1800 K ss. I'm keeping an eye on e bay, but I'm looking for something with less than 30,000 miles on it and don't really need all the ancillaries. This might be hard as I would prefer to keep my EU2 ingnition system. There is a new elise engine which will probably go for more than I can afford. Are all Elise engines 1800cc? How do tell what cc a K Series engine is? Bruce. Edited by - brucey on 1 Oct 2007 12:30:
Englishmaninwales
Brucey The original Rover engine number starts 1400K, 1600K or 1800K. ( unless of course it is an original Caterham engine, in which case the Rover number will the be missing ❗) Or measure stroke and bore? (1800 is a stroked 1600) malcolm Edited by - Englishmaninwales on 1 Oct 2007 14:49:
