SJL
Had the rear wheels on ramps last night to check the diff oil level and noticed that the nearside rear coil spring is touching the bolt that retains the inertia belts within their housings. I am wondering if this accounts for the noise/bang I sometimes get from the rear when the suspension unloads itself - anyone noticed this before ? (I think the coils move away from bolts when loaded with driver/passenger)
SJL
Anyone got an idea ? I was wondering if the radius arm location (lower mount) would make a difference to spring location ?
Casbar
Sounds a bit dodgy to me, nothing should be touching the springs on the dampers, they should have free travel at all times. Don't know about inertia belts fitting, as I have harnesses all round.
