Just discovered that a contract has been signed by Yokohama to supply Brisca F2 stockcars:-

"At the World Final at Arena Essex on Sunday 2 September, Brisca F2 Chairman Gordon Mc Dougall announced that after extensive testing and negotiations, the contract to supply tyres to Brisca F2 for the next three years had been awarded to Yokohama.

The tyre, which will be legal for use from 1 January 2008 is the Yokohama 185/70-13 A021-R K12131 at a price of £36 59p + VAT each. This price will be maintained throughout the three years, subject to rises in RPI."

As you might expect the deal is via George Polley. Looks like those of us that use these tyres can look forward to continued cheap prices.

Great news *smokin* - They appear cheap till the rears wear out in 7-800miles, But I wouldn't use anything else for normal blatting *thumbup* *thumbup*

For longer trips, like to the recent 50th bash I had to use 539's which just survived the 1307miles i covered *eek* *eek*
