Haven't spoken to the useless* feckers yet. *They were pretty-poor when it came to trying to push through an increase at the last two extensions. I'm leaning towards risking it and going for another contract somewhere. The Bank is bonkers to lose my knowledge, but that's their lookout. I'm feeling rather jaded anyway - time for something new perhaps. They always have better staff on the new business side My employer did see the light with regards to knowledge walking out of the door, their usual approach is that contractors have no knowledge only skills x,y & z and any contractor with those same skills could step into the role at the drop of a hat with zero handover etc. The permies either get it or they dont and if your line manager doesnt then you dont have any good levers to pull when it comes to renewal/rate increases Northampton, that'd be a well know bank then ?
