I have just received a flow meter this morning

Ihave not messed about with my twin Webers before but I had a report from my last MOT that the emissions was high and she was running to rich

I did have a Weber manual but can't find it,

can you advise what I need to do and describe what screw I need to adjust

cheers

Read down the thread on the flow meters as there is a description on how to balance the carbs.

For mixture adjustment, take a look at the Dave Andrews weber page here

(read the section on adjusting idle and slow running)

You can also download a complete DCOE manual from the resource / download section of the Se7en-Up websiteteeth.gif

It's worth realising that balancing the throttles is a different thing to adjusting the slow running mixture. Balancing throttles is easy. Poke the meter into each trumpet (or two of them, one on each carb) and turn the adjusting screw on the throttle linkage until the two carbs have the same flow.

Adjusting the slow running mixture is harder and I've never attempted it myself. I reckon it's best done with the aid of electronic metering equipment.
