ashaughnessy Posted April 30, 2002 Share Posted April 30, 2002 The bottles of gear oil I usually buy have a long flexible spout that you can stick into the filler hole (on a live axle, anyway), then just give the bottle a squeeze. With the thickness of gear oil, I can imagine it taking a long time to flow through a small funnel and 2ft of pipe, not to mention making a very nasty mess. Maybe it's different with de-dion.
