paulhodgson
Just back from a weeks holiday to find I can't start the Seven, ignition lights come on, but nasty clicking when I try to start her up. It did this once before, after a 20 minute run, and rocking the car in second seemed to clear it, but not this time. I am guessing at a failing starter motor, but anyone else have any ideas? The car is a VX 2.0 injection HPC 1993
Area Representative Nick Chan Posted September 3, 2007 Area Representative Share Posted September 3, 2007 Your battery sounds like it hasn't got enough poke to turn the starter motor properly. Try a jump start from another car Nick The BEC has gone - now onto an R400!!
Area Representative Paul Richards Posted September 3, 2007 Area Representative Share Posted September 3, 2007 I'd check the battery and if that's ok start looking for bad contacts Paul Richards Area Representative - L.A.D.S.
