The last time I had it on the RR, the guy said it had been running poorly because when he plugged his lap top in it did not recognise the throttle pos sensor. 10 mins later it was ok and blamed it on a connection. Can anyone tell me how I check myself, with a simple multimeter, whether this is playing up again? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Andrew Dent Posted April 28, 2002 Share Posted April 28, 2002 You will probably have 3 terminals on the pot. Across 2 of them, there will always be constant R, never varying when the shaft is turned. Between either terminal and the third, you will either see similar R to the original or very low R. Rotating the shaft will see this alter either high or low.
