Mark H Posted April 27, 2002 Share Posted April 27, 2002 Can anyone help me i have a problem with my 7 . all the elec. syst. have been checked out and i have power every where except in the dizzy . a new ignition kit has been perchased from redline (pertronix ignitor) but im very un sure of this kit as i have fitted it as per the instructions but to no effect. the car had a lucas set up on it that worked fine until i had to fit a new clutch and its since i have refitted the motor that it has had this problem. R2D2 Posted April 30, 2002 Share Posted April 30, 2002 Pertronix are the manufacturer of the system that Aldon also sell as the Ignitor. In the US they have the IgnitorII available which seems to have a better performance but doesn't fit all Lucas distributers. I have used both systems and they have always worked well.
