millsn Posted August 17, 2007 Share Posted August 17, 2007 I have always used my old XF water temp sender (and always had a small leak with it coupled to the Ford thermostat housing). Is anyone out there able to advise which sender is compatible with both the oE thermostat housing and the VDO instruments? Mick Day Posted August 17, 2007 Share Posted August 17, 2007 A VDO one is usually the most compatable with VDO intruments 😬 Usually a 1/8 NPT thread. Try using a little PTFE tape on the thread.
