k80rum
I've done such a stupid thing. I memorised the hose connections for the fuel filler when I first took the tank out. Now I've taken it out quickly a second time and I can't for the life of me remember which way around the 2 small hoses go. It's a K series with a vent-pipe near the fuel sender. I've got this pipe and the vent to atmosphere pipe. The fuel filler has a central connection in the middle right at the top, and another near-identical one on the RHS. I'm pretty sure the tank breather connects to the central one and the RHS is the vent to atmos pipe. Can anyone confirm this? Once I've got the connections identified I'll take a photo for posterity, tag it and keep it for reference, so I'll never have to embarass myself in public again 😬 Darren E Website and Emerald maps library Superlight R #
Mick Day
My tank used to have this config but I had it modified to remove eveything except a breather in the filler. So having said that I don't think it really matters where in the filler neck you connect these hoses as it works fine without.
