strongy
I have a slight leak on my brake master cylinder. It is where the brake pedal/shaft enters the cylinder - coming from that black plastic dust cover? and collecting in the footwell. Not leaking a great deal but is the brake master cylinder user servicable or is it a case of a complete new brake cylinder? Mick Day
It is servicable; any good brake specialist should be able to identify it & supply the correct service kit. Try Redline at Caterham or indeed CC.

strongy
Hi Gambo How much would you like for the cylinder (assuming it fits)? I'm not worried about the weekend, because it really is only a slight weep. Cheers Tim Dry-sumped White Supersprint
Stationary M25 Traveller
Surely any leak on a master cylinder (or any cylinder for that matter) is baaaaad news ?? 😳 You never know when it is going to be more than slight !!!!! ****************** And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking... strongy
*thumbup*Cheers Gambo Pedal pressure is fine, no leaks with pedal to the floor. As I say just a very slight weep of fluid getting past the seal when the pedal is released Dry-sumped White Supersprint

Hazzer
I used mine for about a year with a slight leak - however when the pedal got a little soft I though it might be a good idea to change it! In this thread: http://www.blatchat.com/T.asp?id=113748 Is the details of who I bought a repair kit from - just be careful not to score any items when taking the cylinder to bits!
