The moderator role must be pretty difficult, as you probably should not act just from your personal point of view. I'm glad I was not around to add to thread, as it might have become pretty aereated. He may take the money and amble off. I said (to others) at the time he stood for leadership - this is 1997, that it was too early for him. (It also suggested that he was lacking in judgement - cos it was obvious at that point that the Tories were going to be in oppo for the next ten years - at least). If the Tories had had sense repeat IF, they would have elected Kenny C, who would have been able to get at Blair far more effectively.
