The boys in blue chose to hold up the traffic whilst the cars involved were recovered from the outside lane. We were second in line and thinking that it would be a lengthy hold up, I turned off the engine. However they moved the cars and gave the go ahead to drive on in about 5 minutes. Tried to start my 2004 1800 cc Roadsport and just got the dreaded "click" The long suffering SWMBO had to push the car onto the hard shoulder, whilst other cars drove around both sides of us, which made the whole incident quite hairy. I was amazed that other drivers could behave in such a manner. Especailly with two police cars present. Anyway I digress, took off the bonnet and five minutes later hey presto the car started on a touch of th button. Just as the constable was getting a little upset. I know the starter "click" has been discuused may times but I cant find a thread. Now paraniod about stalling in traffic. HELP Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
