Grebby - got my renewal through from insurers - £400 for fully comp with 4 yrs no claims, commuting and living in a brum postcode (unlimited mileage). How did that compare with you? Must be your postcode - can't you persuade mum to allow you to take the other half of her garage and stick it in a burnham postcode when you're not using it.
