Don
omg - is it roadworthy?? ... I've just had a flashback to the first time we went out in a 'new' dinghy. On the day Roland bought it, we drove it to Devon and launched it off the beach ... all was fine with a (light) wind behind us ... not so fine when we tried tacking back ... the centreboard got stuck (out of the water) and when I turned 'round to swear at Rol I saw the rudder in pieces on his lap *eek* Eventually after what seemed like hours of boat pinball and repeating my repertoire of swear words on loop (I was 5 months pregnant!!) we were washed into shore Maybe I don't have the patience to be godmother ... Delbert
Lill is joining me at Delbert Villas on Saturday. I could write a comedy sketch on the ticketc purchase for the train Suffice to say a staion that we all know exists doesn't the ticket for £28 is full but the same seat is available at £117 but first class was only £64. So I think lets find the station in Newark , ascertain the suitablity of parking and speak to a human. Now have ticket from Newark to Oxford for £8, Just have to get them to admit that Long Hambourgh train station exists 😬 If at first you don't suceed Skydiving is not for you
