Cookie Monster Posted July 15, 2007 Share Posted July 15, 2007 Just fitted a mechanical OPG. Only tested it for about 3 miles & it read 60psi running at about 60mph. Is this about normal? I fitted the kit from Think Automotive and the first guage under read by 10psi cold and 20 psi hot. Independant Snap On guage read 80psi cold, 60psi hot, when the new gauge read 70psi and 40psi respectively. The oil pressure light has been set to go off at 40psi and it hasn't lit up yet.
