Help...help...help!

I put the engine into my [new build] academy car yesterday [great cheering!] But, when I connected the clutch and adjusted it as preliminary instructions, thread just appearing into the pedal box and 4 turns on the bellhousing end, the pedal feels just solid with no movement. By opening the rubber cover on the bell housing there is slack to pull the thrust bearing away from the clutch.

It just does not seem to move to disengage the clutch.

Can anyone help...please

If the engine has to come out again, I will need to be quick, as I have my SVA booked and there is quite a lot to do.

Thanks in anticipation...

I can only think that there is a fault inside the bell housing with the lever or the pivot point. I can;t remember when building, but is it poss to put the level the wrong way round? Don;t take my word for it, but I can;t think of anything to do other than pull the engine. Wait till better authorities have replied or call Caterham techy help first though!
