Lunch will be on the House of Lords terrace overlooking the Thames. Does this mean I am now a part of Gordon's Government of all the Talentless? Do I get to wear white tights and a wig? As a vegetarian what do I get instead of ermine? How much do I have to pay into Tony's retirement fund? And what on earth is an HR peer? Lord Fred of Redundancy, Lady Samantha of Tree Hugging...?
