For Sale 260+ BHP all steel VX engine SOLD

Anthony

Recommended Posts

This time last year, I brought Peter T's 260+ BHP all steel engine. The engine includes sump pan, flywheel and all front belt assembly, ready to replace your existing VX. You will need to swap over induction, exhaust and anciallaries. The engine has been meticulously prepared and was one of best engines Steve had seen on his rollers last year.

I purchased the engine as a spare. The engine has been carefully stored (anyone who knows Peter will know how meticulous he is) and it has not been in the car.

I have an opportunity to purchase a half share in a 964 track car, which is a itch I have been wanting to scratch for ages and need to liberate some capital, hence reluctant offer of engine for sale.

If you are interested, please mail me.

Engine is in Cambridge area, but will be delivered.

Car is nearly ready, but I have be saying that for at least a year :-)

Any thoughts as to what sort of power the remaining components of a typical factory HPC might be able to accommodate without 'falling apart'? Will the rest of the car need to be upgraded if the engine is upgraded to this ultimate spec ?

Anthony,

Sorry to leave things to the last minute, but I was wondering if you could give me a call - mobile 07814 037943.

I was planning to send my engine away to QED or Hellier earlier this year for some upgrade works but had to put it on hold for various reasons.

I now have further funds for the exercise coming available again but have no idea if my programme will suit yours or if we are in the same ball park budget wise etc.

Best wishes

Mark Bozier
