Wile7
I see your point Paul.....and to be honest I had not really taken on board the whole nature of the situation at the time of my posting with the Glasgow incident and the (related?) London bomb discoveries - so apologies for that Doesn't let Ross off for his terrible driving antics though Dave Ardley. White Xflow with Clams The Bearded Clams King Clam Of Clam Hill! Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted July 2, 2007 Area Representative Share Posted July 2, 2007 Paul I think making jokes about these dangerous situations is pretty normal. We are all aware that this attack was potentially lethal and we (the nation, collectively) we fortunate that they, the terrorists, failed. But my reaction to these threats is the same as my reaction to the Irish terrorists; live normally, change your behaviour as little as possible. I'm not afraid and refuse to be cowed by this sort of thing. GJT Crossflow 524 still jumping sideways 😳and ☹️
Hibster.
My route to work is governed by not wanting to sit in 20 miles of traffic on the M25 leading to LHR which there has been when there were previous "issues" at the airport Supercheese R250 Caterham pictures here 😬
Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted July 3, 2007 Area Representative Share Posted July 3, 2007 I'm with you there Paul - it's well worth driving around the traffic, for sanity's sake. My comment was regarding the joking matter rather than you choice of route. On reflection, I thought that you might need to chose different routes to and from work to avoid ambushes! henry21p
You don't think that GJT's a..... No - he owns a 21, he can't be a.... Love to see them try and do a controlled explosion on a 21. "How much explosive do you think we need" "I dunno, try a big lump like THIS" "Hmmm... Not much left, is there" "Hang on a tic, the remote control robot's stopped working and one of its arms has fallen off" "Better call for the spare" "Aaah... boss, the radio's on the blink" 😬
